The Green Chemistry Campus has welcomed a new colleague: Wouter van der Laak. He is the successor of Wiebe Logghe and he will be responsible for the biobased business development of both the Green Chemistry Campus and Biorizon.

Brazilian delegation shows great interest in Biorizon
Wednesday March 12th a Brazilian delegation paid a visit to the Green Chemistry Campus in Bergen op Zoom to hear about the Biobased Delta, the Green Chemistry Campus and the developments around Shared Research Center Biorizon >> The Way to Aromatics. The delegation showed particular interest in Biorizon's open innovation approach with regard to the technology development of functionalized biobased aromatics.

TNO, VITO & Green Chemistry Campus launch Biorizon >> The Way to Aromatics
Today, TNO, VITO and the Green Chemistry Campus launch Biorizon >> The Way to Aromatics. This Shared Research Center is anticipating the expected growing shortage of aromatics from the petrochemical industry and the widely shared ambition to green the chemical industry. Biorizon has received €2,5 million start up funding that enables them to start working on innovative technologies to develop aromatics out of agro-residuals.
