Biorizon event shows growing interest in biobased aromatics
The future of biobased aromatics is promising. Companies are avid for sustainable solutions. The Biorizon shared research centre aims to be a world leader in the development of this sustainable chemical technology, but there is still a lot of work to be done before biobased aromatics are a commercial proposition. These are the conclusions reached at the well-attended event The Profitable Future of Biobased Aromatics at the Green Chemistry Campus in Bergen op Zoom.

International Green Chemistry Campus Gathering Pushes Innovation Forward
In December 2014 Green Chemistry Campus hosted an international gathering of representants from Bio Base NWE, Regions 4 Resource Efficiency and partners from the Enterprise Europe Network. The meeting turned to be very productive, as various partners have committed themselves to push ideas further and to investigate future European collaborations.

Finnish Business Delegation Finds Fruitful Contacts at Green Chemistry Campus
Last Wednesday the Green Chemistry Campus and Biorizon welcomed a Finnish business delegation to discuss how to accelerate biobased business together. The visit was highly appreciated by both the Finnish, Dutch and Flemish participants.

Nettenergy & Indian company start joint future around bio-fuels
Shirke Energy an Indian Energy Firm active in Biomass Field established a Joint Venture with the Dutch firm Nettenergy BV for its Pyroflash Technology. Nettenergy’s Pyroflash technology will convert Biomass to Liquid Fuels. This venture establishes Marketing and Licensing arrangements for the Pyroflash Technology.
