COCI status awarded to Green Chemistry Campus

At the opening, Rein Willems, chairman of the National Board of Chemistry assigned the COCI status to the Green Chemistry Campus. This status has made the Green Chemistry Campus a 'Centre for Open Chemical Innovation' from the first day of opening.

“The campus perfectly fits the COCI network. The Green Chemistry Campus' facilities are essential in the realisation of the ambition of the National Board of Chemistry to play a sustainable, highworthy, and knowledge intensive role in boosting propserity and creating a sustainable society towards the year 2030.”

The COCI-network now consists of Chemelot, PlantOne and the Green Chemistry Campus in the Netherlands. This means that the Green Chemistry Campus is part of a knowledge intensive network from day one.
